MINISTRY PHILOSOPHY
Over the years it has been our experience that misplaced charity destroys human dignity and initiative. We
have also found that “free” translates into worthless and disrespect. In order to maintain dignity
and self-respect we require some form of reciprocal action from the beneficiaries. This reciprocal
action significantly multiplies your gifts allowing us to serve more people while at the same time
teaching people to develop themselves.
One of our key philosophies at Mission Generation is to work through existing social systems. By working through the largest network of any country "the education system" we bypass having to buy property or construct buildings. We therefore can invest 100% into people! This brings greatly increased efficiency to our multiplication of your giving.
For less money than it would cost to build and administer a small elementary school, we currently service a quarter of a million children in the Bolivian school system, teaching them throughout the entire school year. Your gifts go further to help more people because we work smarter!
